For use as an aid in non-specific treatment of equine infections and disease conditions. Administration provides supplemental equine albumin, globulins and associated fluids.
This product was licensed prior to the requirement to establish a minimum age for use.
Inject subcutaneously, intramuscularly, or intravenously, 50 ml to 250 ml depending upon weight of animal and judgment of
veterinarian administering. Repeat doses may be given.
Do not vaccinate within 21 days before slaughter. Use entire contents when first opened. Store at 2-8 °C. Do not freeze. Shake well before using. Do not mix with other products. Safety in pregnant animals is unknown.
Anaphylactoid reaction may occur following administration of products of this nature. If noted, administer adrenalin or equivalent. The use of equine serum has been associated with serum hepatitis in horses (Theiler’s Disease).
