Composition
1 ml of the product contains: Active substance: Enrofloxacne 50 mg. Excipient…qsf 1ml.
Indications
Cattle (calves): Treatment of bovine respiratory disease caused by Enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Haemophilus somnus, Pasteurella multocida, Mannheimia haemolytica and Mycoplasma spp. Treatment of the alimentary tract and septicaemia caused by Enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Escherichia coli strains.
Treatment of acute arthritis caused by Mycoplasma bovis strains susceptible to Enrfloxacin in cattle less than 2 years old.
Sheep: Treatment of infections of the alimentary tract and septicaemia caused by enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Escherichia coli. Treatment of mastitis caused by enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.
Goats: Treatment of infections of the respiratory tract caused by enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Pasteurella multocida and Mannheimia haemolytica. Treatment of infections of the alimentary tract and caused by enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Escherichia coli. Treatment of mastitis caused by enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli.
Dogs: Treatment of infections of skin, gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tracts caused by Enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Escherichia.coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella multocide, Staphylococcis intermedius.
Cats: Treatment of infections of skin, gastrointestinal, respiratory and urinary tracts caused by Enrofloxacin susceptible strains of staphylococcus spp, Escherichia coli, Pasteurella spp, Klebsiella spp., Bordetella spp., Pseudomonas spp. and Proteus spp.
Direction for use:
Subcutaneous or intramuscular use.
Repeated injections should be made at different injection sites.
Cattle: 2.5 mg enrofloxacin /kg bw, corresponding to 1 ml/20 kg bw, once daily for 5 days. Do not administer more than 10 ml at the one injection site. Acute mycoplasma-associated arthritis due to enrofloxacin susceptible strains of Mycoplasma bovis in cattle less than 2 years old: 5 mg of enrofloxacin/kg bw, corresponding to 1 ml/10 kg bw, once daily for 5 days.
Sheep and goats: 2.5 mg of enrofloxacin/kg bw, corresponding to 1 ml/20 kg bw, once daily for 3 days. Not more than 6 ml should be administered at one subcutaneous injection site.
Dogs and cats: 5 mg enrofloxacin per kg bodyweight (0.1 ml of the product per kg bodyweight), for 3-5 days. Do not administer more than 5 ml at the one injection site.
Withdrawal period:
Meat and offal: Calves: 14 days. Sheep: 4 days. Goats: 6 days.
Milk: Cattle: 4 days, Sheep: 3 days, Goats: 4 days.
Cattle: not authorized to be administered in animals producing milk for human consumption.
